Privacy Policy (Android Apps)

This Privacy Policy applies to all Android apps published by gamesnapps4u (developer name "VD" on Google Play), including Offline Thesaurus, English Grammar Master, Medical Dictionary, Spoken English: Daily Sentences and our other dictionary, general-knowledge and learning apps. We respect your privacy. Our apps work offline and do not ask you to create an account or to give us your name, email address or phone number.

1. Information we collect ourselves

We do not collect information that identifies you (such as your name, email, phone number, contacts, photos or location). Your saved words, saved sentences, quiz scores, streaks and settings are stored only on your device and are deleted when you uninstall the app.

2. Information collected by third-party services

Our apps use the following Google services, which may collect information from your device as described in their own policies:

• Google AdMob (advertising) – to show ads, measure them and prevent fraud. AdMob may use your device's advertising ID, IP address, device type, operating system and ad interactions. Ads may be personalised only if you consent (see section 4).
• Google Firebase (Analytics, Remote Config, Cloud Messaging) – anonymous usage statistics (for example which screens are used and app crashes), app settings we change remotely, and delivery of notifications.

3. Device permissions

• Internet / network state – to load ads, analytics and optional online content.
• Notifications – for the optional daily word / sentence of the day. You can turn notifications off in your phone settings.
• Microphone (Spoken English: Daily Sentences, "Practise speaking") – only while you tap the microphone button, your speech is converted to text by your phone's own speech-recognition service (on the device, or by Google's speech service if your phone uses it) to score your pronunciation. We do not record, store or upload your voice. The permission is asked only when you first use this feature, and you can deny or remove it at any time.

4. Your choices and consent (GDPR / EEA, UK and other regions)

Where required, the app asks for your consent before showing personalised ads, using Google's consent tool. You can change your choice at any time from the app menu: ⋮ → Privacy settings. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads), and you can opt out of personalised ads there.

5. Data retention and deletion

Data stored in the app stays on your device until you clear the app's data or uninstall it. Information held by Google AdMob and Firebase is retained according to Google's policies (Firebase Analytics data is kept for a limited period). Because we do not hold any data that identifies you, there is no account to delete; to ask any privacy question, email gamesnapps4u@gmail.com.

6. Data sharing and security

We do not sell your information. Data is shared only with the services listed above, for the purposes listed above, and is transmitted using encryption where the service supports it.

7. Children

Our apps are intended for users aged 13 and over and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through our apps, please contact us and we will help remove it.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, with a new effective date above. Continued use of our apps after a change means you accept the updated policy.
